Throughout every generation there is always an “it thing” to have. I believe back in the day there was a time when it might have been one of those paddles with a piece of string and a ball attatched to it. The caveman days. Fast foward to our era we had alien babies, tamagotchis, pokemon cards, yoyo’s, pogs etc. etc. We have grown up now but the idea of an “it thing” very much exists. You must know what i’m about to mention, it sounds like a fruit but should not be eaten.

The blackberry. I don’t want to toot my own horn. But fucking toot. I’ve had a blackberry for two years now, granted it wasn’t the huge one but thats because when I went to upgrade they only could give me the smaller one so there you go. Anyway thats not the point. The point is blackberrys are so 2000 and over. And i’m not just saying that because my blackberry has died on me. Slightly. Right now i’m overly excited about getting a sidekick.

I say getting, an active verb as if it is in the post for me right now. So far i’ve only been active in my mind in regards to this phone. My problem is that they do not make them for UK people. I KNOW!? DISCRIMINATION. So I have hatched a cunning plan with the help of an online t-mobile advisor.

I shall first purchase it in the U.S. (I have contacts over there, i’m sure sean puffy combs can be off assistance) then bring it over to the U.K. get it unlocked. I have to make sure that the U.K. sim that I have has internet on it and then it should work like a charm. SHOULD. The t-mobile person said it should be fine, she was really supportive because she loves sidekicks too and thinks “blackberrys are rubbish”. We got emotional together and the plan was born.

I love big chunky things and this is why I love sidekicks, why I rebuke the Nintendo lite over the original DS. Why I first wanted a blackberry instead of the phones at the time that were as big as your thumbnail. Wish meh luck & I shall keep you posted on all things chunky.
